F1 brake discs are specialised carbon composite rotors with immense heat resistance, minimum weight and maximum stopping power. The brake bell, made from lightweight titanium or aluminum alloys, attaches the disc to the axle and is designed to transfer the enormous rotational and braking forces from the disc to the wheel.
